To All Quickway Employees
The efficiency and profitability of any organization can be measured directly
by its ability to control loss. Accidents resulting in personal injury, damage
to property and equipment represent needless pain and suffering to our
employees and the public. Any person that forsakes safe behavior in the
name of “getting the job done” is taking unnecessary and unrequired risk.
It shall be the responsibility of every manager, supervisor, dispatcher and
employee at Quickway to maintain the safest of conditions and equipment
at all times. Managers shall take immediate corrective action to eliminate
unsafe conditions in their terminals, in the shops and on the grounds.
Company policy on safety is:
- The safety of the employee, the public and the operation is paramount. Every attempt will be made to eliminate the possibility of accidents and injuries.
- Safety shall take precedence over everything.
- Quickway will comply with all safety laws and regulations.
- Every employee is expected to demonstrate an attitude which
reflects this policy and to maintain safe work habits while performing
their assigned duties.
Any questions regarding this policy may be directed to the Safety
Department in Nashville, Tennessee.
